Overview
The Mares Puck Pro+ is the mid-range option that fits between the Cressi Newton ($150) and the Suunto D4f ($350). Its dedicated apnea mode covers depth, time, surface intervals, and dive count, full metrics for structured freediving, in a durable, proven platform.
The PC interface for data download is the main limitation against modern competition. No app, no Bluetooth, no quick access to your session data without a cable and PC. For divers who review data regularly, the Suunto D4f or Mares Smart Apnea with Bluetooth are more practical. For divers who want solid in-water performance without the premium, the Puck Pro+ delivers.
