Overview
The IST women's suit is the minimum viable option for women who want a women's-specific freediving wetsuit at the lowest possible price. It works in warm tropical water for casual recreational diving.
The quality gap relative to the Cressi Apnea ($160) is meaningful. The IST's neoprene is stiffer, the one-piece design is less size-flexible than the Cressi's two-piece, and the size range is narrower. These limitations matter progressively more as diving frequency and seriousness increase.
Use this as a trial purchase. Once you're diving regularly, the Cressi Apnea or SEAC Body Fit is the appropriate next suit.
