Overview
The SEAC Body Fit is the women's suit for temperate water training. Once water temperature drops below 22°C, the Cressi Apnea's closed-cell construction isn't enough: you need open-cell, and this is the right open-cell suit for most women's proportions.
The shoulder articulation is what distinguishes this suit for freediving use specifically. Fully overhead arms, the streamlined position for descent, need to happen without the suit pulling or restricting. The SEAC cut allows this. Many generic or unisex open-cell suits don't, which turns a streamlined descent into a constant fight with the fabric.
The open-cell care requirement (lubrication for dressing, careful storage, no rough surfaces) is an adjustment if you've only worn closed-cell suits. It becomes routine quickly and the warmth payoff in 18-22°C water is immediate and measurable.
